Time to switch off from the internal critic. Enter new fresh surroundings and restore your creative writing practice using both mixed form yoga, breath-work 'vital prana' and guided meditation practices. With dedicated time to devote to your writing project -- whether that be memoirs, a novel, academic texts, poetry or short stories -- alongside wellness activities, you'll be both productive and restored.

Angie and Braxton will create a warm supportive space to guide and support you in the artistic, calming setting of this 15th-century castle in Stirlingshire -- setting the scene for you to fully explore your writing journey. The space is large and open with numerous wee nooks and private writing cubbyholes scattered around the castle -- and with larger expansive yoga areas and communal gardens, social distancing will be easily observed.

Join us for this special Autumn retreat at Plane Castle on the weekend of 13th–15th Nov 2020.

The programme will be a combination of yoga, dedicated writing time, breath-work, guided writing exercises and forms of guided meditation. The spiritual elements of the retreat will allow you to focus on any writing you are currently working on.

You will also have an opportunity to have a one-to-one with Angie, our resident writing coach, as well as a personal consultation with Braxton on yoga and healing breath. The guided meditations will cover gratitude, empathic behaviour, abundance, manifestation, silence as well as boundary work.
